Transforming complex configurations into architecture
Making an insight into the problems of urban agglomerations: cities, megalopolis, conurbations, which have to satisfy the increasing demands of
the demographic phenomenon, can motivate the necessity of research in the field of structures, the modernization of methods in design, the architectural
diversity.
With the shapes conceived from the non-orientable formative configurations (cfn) presented in the Reoarchitecture book, it is possible to construct
expressive spatial volumes, which can be amplified or modified as required according to a specific code - thus a controllable operation. This is the
transition from two-dimensional design to three-dimensional design, which offers the advantage of instantly perceiving the object's spatiality.
The spatial integrity, the obligatory overload (the European acceptance of the heights of an urban construction of 40-50 levels) can lead, in
special cases, to new cities, especially built in excessive climates, at the SUPRASTRADAL CITY.
The present picture hypothetically illustrates the idea of an overstated city conceived on a structure derived from the aggregation processes of
the reroarchitecture. It consists of the verified "hillocks", outdoors with terraced apartments in successive retractions oriented towards the green
space, with access to the interior, which presents itself as a large V-shaped architectonic "ship", covering the motorized circulation, completely
separated by the pedestrian (by performing suspended transport - magnetic or air cushion vehicles, cable cars, etc.). This semi-closed space is
ordered in height, with console floors, the two spaces advancing to the ridge until unification. Inside the complex, accessible to people at all
levels, is furnished with shops, food and public services, showrooms, offices, etc., and outdoors, positioned to the green space outside the polluted
streets, are designed the apartments with terraces, loggias and balconies . The conception of the city's overhead city offers protection against
over-climates, providing possibilities for controlling the microclimate, excessive temperatures, by air conditioning (air curtains).
The overcast city is an amplification and refinement of the Radburn system, whose pilot example is the Cumbernauld English city
